Words On the Sand - Part 1

WORDS ON THE SAND (Part 1) An old man came to the shore To write on the sand 'Love' to his wife he always adored She died as no more pain she could barely stand Along she comes the watery Fairy Waves making her long and silver hair Wearing silky tides while standing on two golden shells To take from the sand that word in abysmal spells "She loves you as well", the Fairy said "This word is so precious" that no pearl could be paid "I wish you not to be sad and afraid" While a foamy tide took that word aside And the sea turned into a silver calm And the stick he was writing fell from his arm And a tear dropped on the humid sand Soon transformed onto a coral stick to stand A young woman then came also to write On the sand "Remember" to a man who loved to dance Saluted by flags after the war took him in a bite Her blond hair shadowing a purple glance The sea turned then into a deep emerald radius A legion of two thousand black stallions Galloping the tides and pulling their chariots With two thousand mermaids directing the battalions "He remembers you", they told her from desperation blind Saluting her for her courage and mind "You are so sweet, you are so kind This word we will guard as a gift of mankind" The word Remember then dissolved from the sands The blond lady with purple eyes Who danced with a hero keeping her in his hands While the stick she was writing fell in the tides
