Words - the Heart of Imagination
Words - The Heart of Imagination?
Only numbers can love you completely
They stay in order, keep the peace in place
And use words as tools to carve Thanksgiving turkeys
On stop watches they control time
Numbers stay together in a line as rules apply
They ask for nothing in diminishing returns
Words are fuzzy
Numbers are clear
You can count on them to be there
Words are imaginary things picked up by birds
Singing in the nest, carried off by winds
By newspapers never read
Through history, howling through the throats of wolves
Who use language and words to make their point
Do not come near me in this forest
With human words and voices
Your number will be up
I will rip out your words through the heart of imagination!
Wolf has no need or fear of numbers either
There is only hunger here!
