Tri-Con

Created by Connie Marcum Wong, consisting of at least 4 three-line stanzas. Each line has no set meter or syllable count. The last word in each stanza must rhyme with the following Stanza; then, you need to change your rhyming word again in the third stanza, and so on.

Jack Frost etches glass panes; sculpting feathery curls with His icy chisel. But an October rain erases frosty art, with its constant drizzle. Fairies paint dying leaves in the chill of the night; riding an Autumn breeze. And morning wakes to see scarlet and crimson hues crowning the tops of trees. Dried leaves snap and crackle; and Mother Nature grieves for the dead and dying. Longer nights cool the air; and shorter days begin with cloudy skies crying. Raindrops turn to snowflakes; and naked trees shiver under fresh coats of snow. And as Her cold winds blow, Winter is upon us before we even know.

LOVE your first stanza and the imagery of fairies, as well as "skeletal trees shiver". Beautiful rhythm, you certainly did the form justice.

Even as today is the hottest day of the year I can sense winter right around the corner with the kids going back to school this week. Excellent job on Connie's form.
