Welcome Flame - Nove Otto Contest
Flickering flame on window sill
Lit nightly for sons John and Bill
Showing the way home from the sea
Promised a welcome flame from home
Will blaze nightly until they come
Lighting the lamp the way to see
Home from the sea, wick lit no more
Flames from the fire, hearts soar,
Sons served their country are now free
