Weighed Down Part 2
We all have a thief dying to come out
We must control that side of us…We must undo that knot (we must solve the case)
We are victims in our own minute minds…no doubt
We must arrest that criminal…before it causes mischief and what not (find your own way out of my maze)
Reawaken from solitude
The sun’s rising…and you’re frustrated and nude
Stray away into the path of delight…before the day turns to night
Don’t miss the words from my mouth…echoing heaven’s light
Descending in quietude
Don’t look my direction…I weep for safety’s sake…
Show off your effulgence…your delicate, serene tune…
I don’t mean to be rude…but please lift up my mood
Arise as the moon in the shady night…
Promise me you won’t break
Your life isn’t at stake…
I love you for cat’s sake!
(chorus) Weighed down…
I’m wearing a remorseful frown…
Weighed down…
Gravity holds me down
To the ground…
without a sound….
Face down…
Without a sound…
left there without a sound…
Without a sound…
no one cared…
they never did
from the start
And it breaks my heart
To say this,
but I feel this way…
And I don’t want to
fade away…
Left without a trace…
Look at my bloodied face
And solve this bewildering,
Outlandish case
While you do that,
I’ll be running the race
But, I’ve learned
That we all wear that mask…of a miserable clown
Swim with me
Promise me
You’ll be my candlelight
On the surface of the chaotic sea
Will you be so kind to stay by my side for awhile?
Don’t fly too high
Like a kite caught in the wind…
Don’t drift away…don’t fade to gray…
