Was I Dreaming - One In Three Contest

It's the bewitching hour the time when dreams are created. I am walking along a dusty path mists  swirling about me Something caught my eye was a deer limping badly.  I softly spoke to him, "don't be afraid",  " I wont hurt you, I will help you" Removed a large thorn from his hoof. He nudged my face as in thanks then walked away looking backwards as though he was remembering Was I dreaming am I awake The thunder and lightening crashed  outside Did it awaken me?
