You captured the unsettling terror that this piece of art depicts! What torment must he been trying to illustrate? Well done in a terrific poem! ~ Carrie

What I love about this poem is its inaudible reference to Auden, the imagery painted by crisp rhythm of words - a beauty. Thanks for your visit, and the groundings.

Wonderful Narrative! This is one that I actually know! :) The pain in this painting is tangible. From what I read he suffered much. There is a sad kind of beauty in that he could show his pain so vividly. Thank you for sharing and your inspiration, Brian. Love, Robin
