Valentine, Friend of Soldiers

An enlisted man or woman in the air force is an Airman; Brethren of a Soldier, a person who serves in the army. Be it fitting that Valentine’s Day hangs its history with love and strength of a man who did what was right. If not for St. Valentine, friend of lovers and soldiers to be, many lovers would not have seen their own personal victory. Many of our military find themselves far from their lovers and loved ones. They maintain being good soldiers and never let their emotional attachments keep them from their duty. Instead their love drives them to do better, keeping them and their families strong. So legend be told, if it weren’t for war and the soldiers in love, Valentine’s Day would not exist. Happy Valentine’s Day Soldiers! May your love guide you home.
