Unicorns

Unicorns are not all that desirable as a pet! For playing leapfrog with one you'll surely regret, Overlooking the unicorn's formidable one-horned threat! Robert L. Hinshaw, CMSgt, USAF, Retired (c) All Rights Reserved Entry for Robert Heemstra's "Project U.F.O. Contest"

Hello Bob H., making one last stop before i head to another poets page... I picked this one, because I love the UNICORNS... and you are right,,, no one should ever try playing leap frog with the Unicorn... but it if it was my pet, i don't think I would pull such an act... instead I would love it, and make it give me magical things... always~ Linda

OUCH! Oh Robert why did I read this? I'm gonna have nightmares of leapfrogging unicorns tonight, I just know it! I'm not sure how this fared in the contest, but it's definitely an entertaining read! Oh and keep up the colloquial poetry! To be honest some of it is hard to read because of all the slang... but it's funny, and it's put a lot of "where you're from" into the poem itself... (let me know if I ramble too much... it's a problem I have).

Hilarious and dangerous- -yet all the same helpful. I'll make sure to never play leap frog with a unicorn, let alone a regular horse!! Always, Laura
