Morning Comes
Morning rises silent and without strain
And brings hope to a heavy laden mind
A fresh light to spread across life's domain
To unveil treasure a new day I'll find
This day is revealed without a disguise
Containing beauty and a sense of awe
I linger and wonder with open eyes
Watching the gray of night slowly withdraw
In the quiet of this space, peace is found
It fills lungs my with a deeper breath, still
To feel the burdens yet carried unbound
Release all my stress as the eyes now fill
To search the naked dawn for reasoned peace
Surrounded by calming light worries cease
