Tomorrow
TOMORROW
I caught myself thinking about my yesterdays
My life and how it used to be
The people I met, the places I had been,
The beauty I had seen and
Yesterday just seemed to be where I wanted to be
But then I spoke to myself because it had seemed
As if my today’s and tomorrows were going nowhere
Since they were hung up on being in yesterday
We have since made a decree
That we would all agree to, me myself and I
There would only be todays’ and tomorrow’s
Where we would focus so much on enjoying today
That there would be no time to focus on yesterdays
We all appreciate yesterday for the joys that it brought to us
But missing out on the joys that I could have today would only bring misery tomorrow
So we are now focused on enjoying every moment of today
Being who we always wanted to be
Going where we always wanted to go
Enjoying the people we wanted to be in our tomorrows
So bye bye yesterday, you thing of the past
All my tomorrows bloom before me
I see sky’s of blue, red roses too
And I say to myself what a wonderful world of
Tommorrows
