To Up, Over-Wind
Tonight I die, the frozen find,
Drowning is certain
I up, over-wind
Dripping and dropped, like a melting caress
Vast legends of water,
Mental duress.
Tonight I die, and fall beyond,
Tonight I find the frozen pond
Tonight I shake off tears and lust,
Tonight I do the only thing I must.
The tides of sins,
I stretch in time,
And crank and crank up,
And pop...over-wind.
The savage water,
Collapsing the mind,
And dousing the spirit,
To up, over-wind.
