To Survive - Allegory Contest
The rose and the lilly
Fight for my attention
Both have a perfume
One delicate and perfect
The other pungent and profuse
I am a bee that needs
pollen to survive
The pungent lily makes my head twirl
The delicately perfumed rose,
leaves me hungry
Is there a choice
No….i am a survivor.
I am saying
Don’t think pretty is the best
Steady looks can feed the soul
Survive = using ones intelligence
To surmise, is to survive.
