To Find a Prince

I don’t remember how or where we met, but he was older, and his car was cool. Each day he’d drive up to my house to get me in his awesome Fiat before school. He brought me flowers and was very sweet, and so I guessed that kissing soon would follow. One night inside his room, our lips would meet. His mouth was full of spit. Could he not swallow? This drooling mouth moved over mine. It seemed as though a slimy toad sucked up my face. Not anything at all like I had dreamed! I couldn’t wait to get out of that place. Ironically, we lasted through the summer. To find a prince, you must kiss frogs. Life's bummer! So I guess that frog didn't turn into a prince? Bummer!...Leave it to you to write a funny sonnet!...I remember kissing a very pretty girl (Well, I wouldn't actually call it kissing) She simply opened her mouth like she was yawning or something...It was NOT a pleasant experience - Tim

Memories, like the corners of our mind. Some you wish you could forget and some you just can't find. I think that I will go and rinse my mouth out with some soap. If a fool like that can get a kiss, for me, there still is hope. Bubbles. :)

Yes, we old folk are prone to drooling. We talk to ourselves too, forget things. And, in our advanced years, we worship younger people. If a young lady expects to find a prince from an older man, she deserves to be drooled upon. Seriously - enjoyed this one a lot. Love, daver
