Three Words, Happy New Year
THIS IS NOT A HAPPY POEM, I JUST THOUGHT TO BREAK ALL THE RULES AND TO WRITE SOMETHING DIFFERENT ABOUT NEW YEAR.
We take yesterday and we threw it away ,and I ask you if your fine or doing okay
But in fact I know that your hurting...
And here I go again, leaving you with pain, I have you to blame , I'm driving you insane
But only cause I want you to start learning...
A new year came washing away yesterday
But do you think that it will wash away every painful word you did say ?
Do you think that today is different from the last ?
Did you thought that a new day will delete the past ?
It's a new day to you but I don't feel the same
For me it will always be the same old pain
Do you think that 24 hours will bring me the joy ?
Do you think that three words will make me become your toy ?
How do you want me to forget when it's written on my flesh...
How can you make my pain vanquish ?
So we take yesterday and we threw it away, and you ask me if I'm fine or doing okay
But deep down you know that I'm hurting
And here you go again, leaving me with pain, you put on me the blame, your driving me insane
But I promise you to start learning
I have no heart any longer because of you
If you think that it's a happy new year then it's only for you
For me it will always be the old year that I use to get hurt
When you turned my heart to pieces and wiped it in the dirt
So happy new year my love I hope you celebrate
And happy new year for me cause I'll start it with hate
Happy new year for the lie, for the cheating
Happy new year for the heart that stopped beating
Happy new year for all the wounds that is open
Happy new year for the heart that is broken
So you take yesterday, hopping to threw it away, then you come to stay, asking if I was or I am doing Okay
Well I promise you to make your heart burning
And here you come again, to cause me another pain, to make me take the blame, your driving me out of my brain
But babe, it's your turn now to get all the hurting
