Like bolts of lightning I’ve
felt the words from my fingers
come forth

My heart,
my brain, sparking thoughts

Out of them I dust the books of
love with words

I fantasize with paper
and pen,
I cross fiords and skies,
I cry out loud from the high
rocks of the sea,
the bolts riddle,
they rhyme the words,
and charm the hearts,
they uncover my thoughts

Thank you kindly dear poet ! A lil' thought....this write is the only write that I saved before I joined the Soup 3/3009. I wrote almost 1600 writes from 1969(I was 11)(I won second place in a sixth grade poetry competition)until 1983<---my sons mother threw them out in the trash when she was angry with me, she didn't tell me for over a week...eeeek ! And then mine writes from 1985 through 2007('cept'n "Thoughts") I disgarded. James<---ecentric ? I duno......Anywho, thanx for you read Bv, I'm head in your direction soon !.....Have a wonderf week.....much love, james

Another one i reallly like. WEll, James, I guess I will stop here for now. My back is killing me, but I do enjoy finding poets who do not write super long poems becuase I can go thru them fast making many comments! Luv, Andrea Ps I see a comment down here about making it to first round. Was this one that you entered last year then?
