There's Happy, Then There's Happy
There's happy, then there's happy
Pretty sure you know what I mean
On that old scale of one to ten
A four doesn't cut it, it seems
By almost everybody's standards
Eight and up are the winners
Languishing down in the lower numbers
Is not the place to linger
Some say there's times external forces
Dictate things to a degree
What kind of day you are presently having
But that doesn't cut it with me
We're the ones to make the decisions
Really no one's to blame but us
We're solely in control of all our moods
There's really nothing to discuss
There's happy, and then there's happy
Pretty sure you know what I mean
Start off each day with a great big smile
And try to make it routine
