The Space Invader

“Don’t-stand-so-close-to-me,” he said to her. I’m feeling claustrophobic. Every time I turn around, you’re right there at my shoulder. Were you a poem, I’d make you its end rhyme! “How rude you are!” his girlfriend then replied. “The way you talk to me is a disgrace. We’re finished!” As she strode away she cried, “And this is me now giving you your space.” For Black Eyed Susan's Space Contest

I loved the humor in this piece about space. We always think of sky as space but this surprised me. love phyl

Well this caught me off guard. And here I was expecting to read about some good ole fashioned martians from outer space! Haha... well it's a very simple piece but I like the easy going humor in it... and the pun in the end where you "literally" put spaces between the words. Not sure what the contest was, but still an enjoyable piece :)

What a cad and a bounder! He doesn't deserve the closeness of sacred womankind. I've said it before. There is very little difference between a man and a woman, but HOORAY for that little difference! Sincerely, a fan - daver

HI my dear friend Andrea! This is another great write of yours! I love your idea of space here. You're so creative. It reminds me before when once I told my ex bf that i need a space and he told me that I must go to the parking lot, lol. Thank you so much for sharing! Good luck in the contest! love always, Leonora
