The Skin I Am In

To be touched and loved for the skin I'm in. To be felt and to fight for the beauty within. How lovely the thought of a dark empty night, Where nothing is good but everything's right. Do you stop when the mistress temptation arises? Or do you savor the moment behind clever disguises? The human heart will not lie, and it's never a choice, It's having the courage to find your own voice. With passion and lust coursing deep through your veins Will you reap your reward and let beauty reign?

Despite the grammatical infraction in the first line (never end a sentence with a preposition), this has nice descriptiveness and rhyming. Paul McCartney made the same mistake when he wrote "Live and Let Die".

Interesting piece. I like how you connect finding one's own voice and discovering beauty. I think a serious issue with human nature is that of imitation and originality. It seems that beauty has a lot to do with the solution. Keep it up!
