The Pillar-Father's Day Poem

Is it Babu The frail voice hummed Were the last words of the Pillar A pillar that rose like a phoenix from the non existence to BE A man of steel and of character Made life look like a Garden The Pillar Showed us what it takes to provide shelter And what it feels like to be blessed From my time in moments of frenzy For the remnants of tea from his office flask To the dangling watch to get a ticket to a movie Training me on cultivating to Harvesting And Transforming a barren land in to a flower garden From handing me over a Dictionary at 10 To ask me to read the newspaper at 13 From catching my fingers to teach me to walk To teach me to garner the household requirements From teaching me to eat my food in time To Time my studies to match the results From showing me the value of care To teach me how to care for myself That was a Pillar of substance Today i think of yesterday When i was Reckless and chubby Yet somewhere down in the slate Of my subconscious was the imprint The indelible mark of the Pillar Reminding me that the value of Zero always increased besides the family The roar of a lion which tamed us Could only be tamed by the Time.. All this and more were behind me To always send me signals of Time So I Walk And I Walk And I Walk....... SWANSH.. Copyright@2/3/2015.
