The Music Man

You’re not prepared to be strong,
But you have toxic muscles,
My dark Adonis,
What I never told you,
If I could sculpt you,
It would be legend,
But I’m bludgeoned,
By these senses you discarded,
Feeling inspired to learn your mind,
Deep eyes gleam while the riff dances for me,
Under your fingertips I-
If I was the one to deliver,
Your every desire,
My body would still embrace,
Still entwine,
Every vein that courses towards,
Your sensual skin,
Steadfast on the vulnerable hopes,
Of potential differences,
Gradually evaporating with each moon,
Reflecting and dismantling evenings,
Spent by your charming side,
Terror and risk whisked away,
To put my scathed heart on the line,
Burnt and severed like my rhyme,
At this point you’ve become another regret,
To tack up under the loss of treble clef.
