The Mountainside Call -Mark 16: 13
There way up high He stands
looking down on His very own
this is God in Christ compassionate
searching for the seed He has sown
This Jesus stands above His creation
speaking forth His gospel call
to those He has particularly chosen
his irritable love draws them all
The great desire of the blessed saviour
is to bring in all His father has gave
to Jesus who died for their sins alone
for this great redeemer’s will was to save
So indeed by His great almighty power
his chosen ones turn and to Him come
putting their God given faith in His hands
believing and trusting He will hear their drum
For all that the saviour has lovingly chosen
will come and receive His promised salvation
before the earth’s foundation it was planned
God’s chosen to believe on eternal redemption
('And he went up on the mountain and called to him those whom he desired and they came to him.’ Mark 16: 13. )
