The Lark's Melody
I am vowed by the long tail of the bright falling star,
delighted by the notes of my guitar;
Its sheer brightness,
reveals the Heavens,
it resembles fireflies flickering in the night's vastness.
I begin to dream under the shimmering firmament,
and with closed eyelids, I start to count;
I seem lost into the blue,
images come into view,
then the night covers me with sparkling dew.
I put aside every doubt and enter the atmosphere,
such a mystic place of enlightenment to share;
Unbounded,
I behold
all creation done by His hand to be forever praised.
I am vowed by the adventurous flight of a beautiful lark,
admiring the loveliness of the night so calm and dark;
his wings flutter,
he goes far,
in this wilderness he moves freely owning sky and air.
Can we learn the lark's melody
and sing it to the Almighty?
