The Ink Flows Black

The ink flows black across this page, as my pen becomes scribe to thought. Expressions which I try to gauge and translation now must be sought. What was asleep is stirred awake. The ink flows black across this page. What of this will my pen now make, like a key to unlock some cage? Perhaps the time has come of age for me to free the things I keep, the ink flows black across this page, as I let surface things once deep. Tell me, from where do these things come, as feelings with thoughts now engage? My pen is there to capture some, the ink flows black across this page.

The ink flows so marvelously here, I love quaterns and you did a great job with the form :) I particularly like the third stanza, it is quite a release, these flowings of ink isn't it?

You made me think what would it be like to be the ink and not the creator.....deep thoughts stirred!!

Keep it flowing Emma. This poem says so much. Where do these thoughts come from? How do we translate them into written word that makes a poem worth reading? Well you managed it here, no worries. A wonderful work. Thank you for your kind remarks on mine. best regards Margaret
