The Final Thesis....

Freedom life and sacrifice But tell me what's the ending price? When most are bound beneath these chains.... And all one sees has gone insane Shall I entangle, engage within my mind Mortifieds mortgaged morticious eyes Whom wish to cast me under their spells Of melancholies projected tears.... While sounding crimsons rusted bells Behind these bars they bent themselves Amid conceptions misconceived This tainted truth, that they should believe Twisted.... Now nailed upon the judgmental cross Wretched flesh, burning, its ultimate cost When smitten fresh permeates the air The stench that gathers, that they all may share This feast of sorrow from among mangled times Cannibals moment, at the expense of another human life When the moon turns to blood, and the sun grows black And right is wrong, and wrong is back To gather its flocks amid the night of the day As darkness rules, within the most subtle way.... Freedom life and sacrifice But tell me what's the ending price? When most are bound beneath these chains And all one sees, has gone insane! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The final thesis....

This is so deep and dark and poignant....umm, cutting? I was taken in all your images, really wretched and devastating... I am sorry it often takes me so long to comment. I am so very busy, but whenever I need a smile, or a refreshment for my soul, I visit your page!:) Love, Sara

John, ... Of melancholies projected tears ... are words of a tru artists. We become poems written not by our joys but our divine sadness ... The Christian's life is one of constant overcoming ... for it is character that we build as the purpose of this love. Divine love flows only from that final character that makes us the image of God again.

In the world but not of the world-helps. There are way too many things to pull on souls these days. You have described the twisted world of finances and more. I like the cannible moment...like vultures trying to get the last bit. Stay strong is all we can do. Thank you John, for sharing your thoughts. D. S-J

The "ending price" is far too costly, John. Your words touch on many of the ills that plague man today. "Mortified, mortgaged morticious eyes" is a frightening image. But I guess that's what we can expect when "All one sees has gone insane." Excellent poem!! Love, Carolyn

Now you are talking about the media as well as other value systems gone crazy..."As darkness rules within the most subtle way"...I dig this line. Everything gone to hell within a smile. Have I read you right, John? This one will take some more thought on my part. Love reading your stuff. Love, daver

Great imagery filled graphic write full of emotion too. Such 'Revelation' you bring to us, hereon in it depends which way our souls are sold...I'd like to see a juxtaposed write of yours to complement this one showing the brighter side and all its glory as we move towards judgement... Such dramaic and colourful picture you bring to us to muse over poet, well done.. Your comments/thoughts always extrememly welcome. Kindest thoughts, Anna-Marie.

As darkness rules, within the most subtle way....wonderfully deep and thoughtful. I actually just had a conversation about this very thing about an hour ago. Your last line is a killer.
