In 2012,  I was very sick, in a coma for weeks and when I woke, this dream was in my head so vivid and real.  I was in that forest and my mother was calling me, I was running trying to find her, but never did ---

I wrote this poem from my hospital bed and posted it when I was still in the hospital (6 months in that hospital)

I did recover and here I am writing again and writing and writing . . .

-- ~ -- I meander past a rippling stream my hair blowing in the wild wind. Was that my name being called? Did it sigh, in the tangled trees? I swirl, twirl to bird sounds, my name but an echo- MOTHER where are you? Wait! Wait, wait for me mother! But only silence sighs in the trees. I am running, searching, weeping- Waking in a hospital bed lost in a sea of pain, gasping, struggling to breathe. Moaning- asking how long, how long was I lost in this dream? ________________________ Re-write from July 12, 2012 (the dream lingers)

I am glad you are well now, Constance. It must have been quite an ordeal. Dreams certainly are strange, aren't they?
