The Death Express - Tsunami

Who can withstand the force of nature, When conflicting powers oppose? Hidden energy ignites Shocking earth’s row of plates Shoving them aside Propels great sea Unrestrained Express Death ~*~ 03/12/11 As you read this, please say a prayer for the people of Japan that the ones who survived will have the strength and courage to go on after this harrowing experience.

Mother nature sure saddens us at times Annalise. Such harrowing images seeing it strike land. Super tribute to the lovely Japanese people, and my thoughts are sure with them....:)

What a way to expresses the horrors of the Tsunami that hit Japan after that quake. I say a prayer for them each night. The poem was powerful and to the point and thanks for your comment on my work. Jancarl

What a nightmare fell upon Japan and her people!!! More then 10 000 probably dead, so many homeless after that devastating Tsnunami and now the fear of nuclear radiation!!! Fifty nuclear powerstations in such a small country with everyday fear of quakes!! This is against all reason!...Enjoyed the read, my friend....All the best...Gert

Tears in my heart as I read this, it's a sad thing that the world is experiencing a show down like this. They will be in my prayers. I have relatives living in Japan. Fortunately, they are safe from that terrible catastrophe. This is a very well written nonet that captures all the descriptiveness of that tragedy.

A "Death Express" is a good way to describe the tsunami that hit Japan. I like the way you described the shifting of tectonic plates - nice scientific touch adds to the emotion of the poem, Annalise. My prayers go out to the people of Japan. The U.S. is sending aid. I hope other countrie will do the same as they'll need all the help they can get. Strong, timely write, dear friend. Love, Carolyn
