The Dawn of My Devil -

The Devil spoke to me with glee about what could be, promising, possibly, he thumbed a drum of hearts pulsing so I could see the drug of love that I was missing, a tempo true and rude impossible to elude took my breath to the hue of blue, reflections of calm joy and coy laughter, refractions violent and violet floating vibrantly, demons and angels in the flesh fighting forever for admiration of a clever and aloof Trinity demanding dues, he said may your body be dense and follow the sequence of the spirits with you and never miss your cue, I was awestruck, rendering enquiry futile as prayers in perdition, the clouds were copious, his face lucent & sizzling, nefarious and dangerous these galleys and valleys are, gamble the gambit of your soul's sanctity, In the cold stillness consumed by a gray melody an ancient perfume of rose blood inflated my mind moonstruck, a woman wise and disguised like a brilliant bandit with persuasive eyes presented to me keys to her city, the Daughter of my Devil was indellibly pretty and sitting lonely saying, believe me through love and find liberty, try your luck in rivers red and in deep seas soliciting felicity, pick a course and secure your rolling rope to this feather never to pluck, horse power and a flower dower, love your Mother always in hallways dark, then I was born once more - J.A.B. 2003

She is indeed an exciting character. Though her hurt misled her to a greater evil. She became corrupt and rejoyced in the murder of children and other bloodshed. Perhaps it was just a mothers revenge, for the angels cursed her for not coming back to Eden and

said therefore all children of hers henceforth shall die....If I were a mother however, I perhaps would want anothers child to raise as my own rather than killing all the unborn and newborn. Revenge is a sick and twisted knife and will always turn its blade back on its beholder.

I possess an effortless sympathy with the allegory, or truth of Lillith's frustration, perhaps betrayl, and a respect for her fierce sense of soveriegnty - makes me wonder why the Almighty & Adam mistrusted her - she must be a very intense soul - I am attracted, & revering to both of the original female personas, but Lillith excites me more than Eve- J.A.B. %

Therefore, If that is possible, then I believe in a way who's to say we are all Eves Daughters and that some of us are not Lilliths instead....In the olden days they use to say that redheads were the Daughters Of Lillith.

That is why we were called witches, Demons, Succubi, Creatures who were born from trees and lived without souls, and were then murdered by fire and stones and drowning. But, perhaps they were right all along. Ponder that. ~Always Jay

Well they say that Lillith (Adams first wife) became the Devils wife when she ran away from Eden to the Red Sea, to mate and produce demon offspring because she refused to submit to Adam who treated her as a lesser female rather than an equal though she was created from the same earth as he (Which is why Eve was then created from his Rib)

There is something dangerous & exciting about this write Jay, glad you found it stimulating - I personally like the notion that the Devil has a daughter, in a way she represents all women, in another way, she is much more than mortal - her love commands a high price - Thanks for the love - J.A.B. %
