The Dark Poet- a Spooky Revelation

In my sleep they came jeering, making awful noises...shaking my bed; I couldn't either move or talk and hearing them speak a weird language, I covered my head. Many nights I dreamt of corpses in cold graves, I was walking into that cemetery I used to visit; dead people couldn't harm me I thought to myself, little did I know they were evil spirits who could have. They kept on coming in dark, frightful dreams, they tied me down with ropes and laughed, I screamed, but nobody head my screams; mom and dad were in the next room, they chatted. One stormy November night, before going to bed, I put garlic cloves underneath the mattress, and waited for them to come closer and snap; my plan worked, they sniffed the garlic and left!
