The Cross-Lane

I have journey all the way Through a long narrow lane Seeing I am all alone It keeps me focus to reach the end. Then ahead another lane crossed And you too walk on that lane. We head on the cross-lane junction And linger in dumb words: Are we to halt or stare Or by luck we head on a lane? What if we retrace our lane behind? Yet we crossed the junction And still it’s always a cross-lane!
