the bravest feet

stumble, stop.... again--again--

Dare travel

    treacherous roads--ignore the rain

No thought for honor or for pain
They bypass shortcuts filled with glory

Content to walk a silent story

The bravest feet

I can feel brave feet continuing to proceed despite the stumbling. The sound of the different stomping on the ground is undeniable and inescapable.. while reading this moving poem

There is something magnetic about this posting. I couldn't help but read it. It seems a bit late for Memorial day, but highly appropriate. I enjoyed, very much, the feeling it left. You may want to read "Ballad of Sammy Taylor" that I wrote to honor Memorial Day.... Love ya... Jake
