The Apple Tree - Sad Dizain

The apples in the tree I looked after With intense love for the leaves and the fruit We loved to see each other in laughter When down we would together play our flute The rogue storm that night sneaked in like a brute Plundered pink and purple fruits one by one My love along with my honour was done Now when I visit the tree everyday It’s gut wrenching to see the skeleton Empty bubbles are my April and May ________________________________________________ May 14, 2016 For: Sad Poem – Dizain – Poetry Contest Sponsor: Laura Loo

Clever take on this topic... I think I am reading the death of seasons and the dormant barren surroundings it brings. Very interesting.
