Why I Love Solitude

Solitude, takes me to the river of imagination where, ideas ripple and words in rhythm float. With patience, I ponder and pursue my thoughts, some are vague, some plain and some with pain, I add some emotions, dress them in words, and the ornaments of rhyme decorate my thoughts. So, when peace of mind pairs with my passion, and when pen and paper collide, a poem is born, Without solitude I am too normal but to reach out to the poet in me, all I need is solitude. Wow! Meenakshi, your first two lines are an entire poem that could stand alone! To visualize the aesthetic beauty in those few words is what poetry is all about! I would have had this gem of a poem much higher my friend. I am so happy I got to read it! Congratulations on your placement! #7 ; )
