Thanks For the Memories Mr. Hope
Your shows went wherever our boys were
From Korea, to Viet Nam to Desert Storm they knew you would always be there
From that brief time you gave them a touch of home
You touched their hearts in such a way they knew they were never alone
Every smile, every wave, every loud cheer
They carry in their hearts and minds even after all these years
The jokes the songs could not compare with the voices singing
Silent Night as it filled the air
For all the joy you gave so unselfishly
A nation and the world would like to say
Mr. Hope May the good Lord bless you and
Thanks for the memories
