Teach Your Children Well (Thanks To C. S. & N.)
What can we should we tell
of the beauty within which we dwell.
The gift so soft and hard and complicated
the mating dance in which we’re sated.
As first bloom crosses childlike cheeks
and fair heart doth skip a beat.
Would it not be best for love to be described
in loving ways in gracious sighs.
The dew on brow, the stomachs turn
the greatest God gift for which we yearn.
Let the body temple be thus glorified
let its given sanctity not be vilified.
Each creature large and small loves.
See this, look, fear not it’s from above.
