I love the sound of the rain and the way it helps flowers grow. Great haiku!

Spring IS that time. The 2nd line really puts the passion of spring in the Haiku. Nice write.

Wilma hallo, baie mooi haiku! Na 'n paar keer is ek terug op Sop en ek het die aand het twee nuwe gedigte. Indien u by tye, maar ook met my in die Facebook, as jy wil. Lovely rhapsody you've penned here. I had a nice time with my visitors. They had to drive for 12 hours and were happy to have a brake at my place. Baie geluk en 'n lekker week ...:) Gert

A "sweet rhapsody," indeed when the plants are blessed with rain, Wilma. I love your haiku and am glad you see "foliage" as having three syllables as well. I had a hard time convincing Rick of this. A pleasure to read your work always. Love, Carolyn
