Sunset, Sunrise

The Sun, Briefly Sank into The waters beyond; The sight cuts deep into my heart. But, the night came to pass; the sun smiles at me again. I forgot the sadness it brought me; delighted with its presence this time of the day. So, I Surmised, Sad endings, Though it may wound us As cloud of uncertainty looms; And darkness veils our nights; a new day is to begin That will render sorrows as just reminiscent of a much happier tomorrow. Now, I've Tasted The sun's bids; Sunset and sunrise - I still have that jolt of dark blues As the sun leaves; yet my heart's shrouded with hidden bliss, All I remember is the sun's promise that it will grace me with a cheerful smile soon. 7/28/14

A lovely read, and you have given it a very nice sentimental feel.

I like the visual aesthetic of your form here - nicely reflecting the setting sun.
