Sunrise, Sunset
The sun rises over the mounatins,
Over the valley streams,
Reaching out with golden fingers
To touch the peaceful fields.
It warms the sleeping animals
With a gentle kiss.
Sunbeam fingers stir the river
To make it bubble and laugh.
"Oh Ho!" cries the wind,
As it dances through the grass.
It stirs the heart of Nature
As the sun rises overhead.
"Sing and Dance you pretty flowers!
Laugh out loud you living things!
For life is to short to Worry
And the day is nearly spent!"
The sun sets in the evening,
Shadowing the mountain slopes,
Gently kissing the valleys "Goodnight."
And disappearing over the horizon.
