3rd place in the contest

Muted spring tunes, in blush Glides softly on the strings between the seasons Nickel-plated steel springs become soft A lush, colorful atmosphere whirls around your head Feminine details are being unpacked channeling eternal muses Freshly labels, touring relentlessly With impressive powers, snowdrops break through the snow Spring is obviously ready and ambitious Musics universe is infinite the listener is free to interpret Play orchestra, play

" Nickel-plated steel springs become soft A lush, colorful atmosphere whirls around your head Feminine details are being unpacked channeling eternal muses" -- Magnificent poetry. I can see your love for music, in particular you knowledge of strings. The heart like strings...love like strings...with fond time and dear play will be stretched tunefully into infinity. Love your poem. A Strong FAV!

Those snowdrops like crocus amaze me. I guess they do their best in colder climates than here though. Thanks for sharing this one with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K

exquisite free verse, Anne-Lise. I loved "a lush, colorful atmosphere whirls around your head." I loved that image and its accurate as to what's unfolding here in Texas. I agree, spring is obviously ready and ambitious. Well said. Best wishes with the contest, hugs, Sara
