Saturated Self The sky before it rains is as dark as emotions Before an ending of love First the dark clouds are at a distant Then they come within view Suddenly they loom large over you Darkening your whole life Rumbling and terrifying you Its heavy downpour beats you down Crushing your last bit of strength The brain and bones are rattled and thrashed Till you are no more yourself Your life has been seeped out But a faint breath can be heard You live on........ An angel comes and lifts your soul Breathing his breath into you The pale lips quiver, the eyelids tremble open To witness the rainbow of your numerous talents Your guardian angel left for you in his absence To empower your empty saturated self.
