Somewhere To Be Alone
12-18-2012 Somewhere to be Alone
I noticed your eyes were blank,
Different from the windows opened,
The soft breeze blew across the empty room,
You,like your smile would not move,
It was as though I wasn't even there,
Seconds to late I left for home,
Walking down this road alone,
Away from a feeling that had gone wrong,
I hope to be in true love once again,
With the sand in my hand, hearing the sound of the busy sea,
The freshness of salty shifting breeze, blowing off my face,
Shearing softly, tips of crashing waves, mist drops off my nose,
The flock of seagulls glide as if floating in mid-air,
Watch the sinking orange sun, turning the page,
To another calm passive day, realizing that I can not stay.
