Soft Lavender Promise
Christening the weeping willow upon the misty morning dawn
The daring sun fighting the muted cloud covered haze in victory
Spills a tapestry of golden light through the stained glass window of hope
Waking from an evening of steamy passion and endless love songs
I lie tangled in your arms in soft breaths of honest confession
As we gaze beyond the garden of soft lavender promise
