Snuggled under a cozy blanket, we watch snowflakes fizzle in the fire. And a light wind smells of smoky pine, gusting as feisty breezes aspire. The burning logs erupt into sparks, showering the air with specks of light. And a dark horizon bleeds shadows, inking silhouettes shaded by night. A fresh coat of snow sticks to the trees, falling in silence without a sound. And cuddled close in a warm embrace, we sip gourmet coffee freshly ground. A saffron moon gilds cottony clouds, beaming its light through crystals of ice. And a shooting star unzips the sky, mirrored within your eyes; enjoyed twice. Mother Nature fills our souls with awe, but winter's cold can't impede our pace. For we've learned to enjoy each season as time's slowly aged us with grace. The stars confetti the black of space as two enamored hearts skip a beat. And love is reassured with a kiss, for when together, we feel complete. (Quatrain) 8/5/2016

How I love your poems. This is filled with imagery for the reader to eagerly embrace as it magically flows with purpose and graceful pace to conclude, as does the day, in a loving snuggle. An awesome write, Emile ... CayCay
