Haiku X3

silver leaf moon light white clouds passing quickly by..... winter's slumber nears misty rains approach standing proud amid the wind.... a silent red wood bare branches piled high nestled slumber for a time... dreams of springtime flow ________________________ CONTEST

A lovely haiku series, very visual. Hard to pick a fav, but I love the moon so the first one really captures my imagination. Best wishes for the contest ~ Sharon :)

Great images of fall, Rick. I really like the third verse especially -- the branches are piled high in the yard and the bonfire will be held on Halloween! Here's your invitation. Diane

What a terrific haiku -- brilliant imagery of the silver glow the moon casts on the earth below. Great work, Rick! Love, Carolyn (And it's so good to see you posting again. I'm pulling for you to get that certification!)
