Shadowed Forms

The crowd scurries here and there Looking for their place to go In the midst of the large crowd I stop to notice They venture without a look Never see each other there Just focused on their one goal Their destination I saw they look like shadows Each clinging to their masters And fuzzy with not a care Wanting to be done I looked amongst the grand crowd As their shadowed form went on They start to look inhuman Like some aliens They pass me without a look I no longer see each face They are shadows fogged over Lost souls in the dark I leave the scene behind me I go back to my safe room Hoping that I never see Shadowed forms again

Unfortunately shadows always follow us in our lives. We just need a ray of light into our hearts to chase them away! Beautiful! Thank you!

Interesting! Most of us are deep in thought with too busy lives to take notice of what's around us.Our days become a blur. yes, like shadows passing by. Nicely written Russell. Warm Smiles, Connie
