Sequence-Hostilities

Handshakes, kisses and fond farewell with destiny's tears ,no thing could quell Explosives whistled all around where red petals now colour the ground Lives sacrificed for us,now free lie quiet as blossom from a tree Each requiem slowly brought a tear stripping each sense of its veneer Crysanthemums now lie on each grave thus did fortune favour the brave

A reminder that all who have given so much, have sacrificed for our safety and freedom should be honored. This poem honors all of our fallen heros, in such a lovely way. Sincerely, Carrie

Beautiful writing and also makes me sad. So thankful for those lives sacrificed for all of us, that is truly loving your neighbor, lives given so others can be free. Very moving and emotional, great job. God bless, Amy :)
