How To Destress In Modern Life Part 1

EDIT Oct 4 Part 1. How to destress in modern life https://youtu.be/dzbLuLzMWE4 A delicious languor steals over one in the languid twilight falling over the meadow Watching tiny animated spectrums whirring in the after glow Flitting among pretty petals the gossamer-winged dragon-flies or mayflies Fluttering among delicate filaments the fine and flimsy butterflies. Then also retire to admire exquisite darting damselflies All in all some of nature's soothing balms. Created by God Himself, Nature calms. Divine holistic bonuses for relaxation... Look for getaways, away from city/town noise pollution. A lavender sprinkled jacuzzi, rose petals and jasmines floating about like do lotus and lilies on ponds right in your bubbly scented bubble-bath As ambient soft gleams of moon beams seep in through translucent glass. Luxuriate in the ephemeral, inhale the aromatic incenses of perfumery, oils and essential oils Bathe in invigorating spa, joys euphoric listening to choirs of cicada music Relax and unwind in the famed Turkish Bath wherein to indulge yourself in steamy massage Complete with the charm of the exotic even if you don't live in Turkey or aren't Turkish. Nature and such baths all God created or inspired, and thus very very therapeutic... #nature #baths #god

Oh i find prayer n suplication to God d simplest way to take out stress n feel at peace. Havent much time for artificial or lengthier relaxation like long walks. Tnx

Hello, the first part of your poem is compelling, because it touches on attainable relaxation and meditation. My own view is that as you fuse into " .. connection with the divine, the Omni present one", the poem moves into arcane territory. Arcane isn't a bad thing. I felt you diluted the impact and style of the first part. This is my view, and you should understand that I am no poet, nor am I a writer, nor am I a critic but a first order buffoon. First part of your poem is original. J

I deliberately dillutd d effects of unspiritual artificial tranquilisers. Prayer n invocation to d one true God is neither arcane nor complex. Its d best relaxation technique available.

Your poem is deeply insightful for it takes the reader to solitary relaxation in its real sense of meaning..that's how "Turkish bath" sounds! I loved your style of shifting from short poetic form into long form which stresses relaxation stages that begins with relaxing mind (single words depicts state of stressed mind) and in turns reducing state of hyperarousal and relaxing body and organs!! I love your poem and THUMBS UP!! Nasser.

A lovely poem that gives the feeling of meditation and the wonderful relaxation in a scented bath I do wonder why you suddenly changed from single words per line to longer lines. I was not sure what i you wanted the reader to feel or understand about that.. Thank you a lot for your comments on my poem ..."a meditation" I would like to know what you thought of my longer poem called "the gardener"
