Sea Gull's Brunch
A lone gull,
white breasted
pecked and pecked
at flecks of snow on the ground -
a curious delight this February day,
but what could be found
in nature's freshly poured flakes
to sate the bird's appetite?
She turned and soared away on wings of grey.
