Scar Tissue
The scar tissue is healing,
Yet it keeps on peeling,
Layer after layer,
Leaving me bare,
Trusting in God,
Leaves me to not have to care,
It looks worse before it gets better,
That would explains this mess,
I knew all along HE would impress,
I knew all along it would hurt less and less.
