Rose of Friendship - Any Poem Contest
the rose of friendship
a beautiful thought, to plant,
to grow for someone
who can no longer see it
no longer smell the perfume
not because they have died
because they are now bed bound
all senses shut down
except touch, so I bring them petals
to crush and too remember.
